Next Generation Opinion Leaders Learning from the Best  

 

 

A volunteer group comprised of promising college students will be carrying out a vital role during this year’s Global HR Forum. The group called ‘UNIFEL Fellows’ kicked off last month with 78 students that were selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants. 

 

 

 

Each UNIFEL member has a main function: liaison, rapporteur or evaluator. The liaison will accompany the key speakers and guests of the forum one on one throughout the event. Thus, the liaison needs to be well informed of the participant’s schedule and should be able to do translation work when necessary. The rapporteur attends each session of the forum and is responsible for organizing and recording the event. Finally, the evaluator is responsible for critiquing the content, audience and management of the sessions.

 

The term UNIFEL is a combination of the words university, union and fellow. It signifies the next generation opinion leader who seeks to learn the vision and know-how presented by current experts attending the forum.

 

UNIFEL members will continue to meet on a regular basis after the three-day forum. They will take part in evaluating the forum and setting the agenda for next year’s conference. With the network gained through the forum, members will also engage in international exchange programs.
