[Global HR Forum 2015] Diversity in Talent Acquisition Will Change the World

The Global HR Forum, which has become one of the world's premier human resources forums, will celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2015. The Global HR Forum 2015 will be held for three days from November 3 to 5 at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Seoul's Gangnam, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training, as well as the Korea Economic Daily.
The main theme of this year's forum will be "Diverse talent, Changing societies." This year's event will be bigger than ever before, with leaders in the corporate sector, universities, government agencies, and international organizations from 60 nations across the world in attendance. The keynote speech will be delivered by former Prime Minister of Singapore Goh Chok Tong who led the city-state for 14 years between 1990 and 2004. In his speech, he will talk about how his country has become the world's hub nation with the theme of "Changing Society and Changing Role of Education."
Mr. Goh's speech will be followed by Jeffrey Pfeffer, Professor at Stanford Graduate School of Business, who will deliver a keynote speech titled " How to Overcome Leadership Challenges in Tough Times". In the business sector, leaders like Red Dot president & CEO Peter Zec, General Assembly CEO & co-founder Jake Schwartz, and PepsiCo senior vice president & chief HR officer Umran Beba will tell you about a wealth of stories in which creative minds successfully led to fast growth in their respectively organizations.
A number of presidents of the world's prestigious universities will take part in this year's Global HR Forum event. Michael Arthur, president & provost of University College London, John Sexton, New York University president, Steven D. Lavine, California Institute of the Arts president, Richard B. Davies, Swansea University vice-chancellor, and Paul Johnson, the University of Western Australia vice-chancellor will participate in this year's HR Forum.
In the special session, executive vice president of the U.S. Council on Competitiveness Chad Evans, INSEAD Shell chaired professor Paul Evans, Center on China Innovation, China Europe International Business School professor of strategy & co-director George Yip, Catalyst president & CEO Deborah Gillis, associate partner of IDEO Diana Rhoten, senior fellow & executive director of the George Lucas Educational Foundation Milton Chen, and Harvard Law School Senior Research Associate, Labor and Worklife Program Michael Teitelbaum will be presenters and discussants.
